Student Library Card Registration

Welcome!

Whether you are getting a library card for the first time, or whether you lost your old one, you’ve come to the right place. If you live in Old Lyme, click HERE to register for your card. It’s free! And, we are waiving any existing student fines and we no longer charge late fines either!

After you register, we will email you with your barcode and then send you a physical card in the mail. Or, you can also come into the library and get your card in person. (Make sure to bring a guardian if you are 14 and under!)

Check out an ebook or audiobook from the Library’s collection. Use the library’s online catalog and your library card number to reserve electronic and physical books from your home.  Libby, an app for audio and ebooks, is easy to use and has lots of options:  Here’s a quick video tutorial.

If you are looking for specific topics or have any questions, librarians are here to help!

Email your Young Adult Librarian, Nike, at ndesis@oldlymelibrary.org
